Q. How long does it take to process my credit/debit card at checkout?

A. While most debit transactions are processed instantly, or within the next day, some credit cards may take longer to process, depending on the vendor and financial institutions involved. Some transaction may take up to 5 business days to process.

Q. Some of your lingerie items, dresses and costume sizes are marked as "OS", or "One Size. How do I know they will fit me?

A. Please refer to the below sizing chart. This chart applies to most clothing items, including lingerie, dresses, and costumes:

Q. What is your return policy?

A. ShadowyTales will comply with a full replacement of any defective item. 

Please contact us by email at help@shadowytales.com should your item be defective, so we may determine the eligibility for a replacement of your product with the manufacturer.

In your inquiry, please make sure to include the following:

  • A detailed description of the issues/symptoms affecting your product.
  • At least three photos of the item in question where the item code, model number, and/or SKU number is clearly visible, along with a visual of the damage/defect affecting your product.
  • The full name used during the transaction, and the date when the product was ordered.

With the exception of defective items, Shadowy Tales will not authorize replacement of any item.

Please note that due to health concerns in connection with the intimate nature of our merchandise, we can't authorize returns on any purchased item. All sales are final once your order is placed.

Q. What if I order an item that's no longer in stock?

Our inventory and shipping is handled by our dropshipping supplier, and their inventory is updated on a daily basis. Occasionally, certain products may become unavailable. Should that be the case, we will simultaneously notify you by email, and refund your purchase. Refunds may take up to five business days to show in your card statement.

Q. How safe is it to shop on your site?

A. Shadowy Tales uses a secure layer certificate provided by our hosting server, which is considered sufficient for most online activities that do not involve the tranfer of sensitive information.
